Downtown Livermore, Inc. has done an amazing job or redeveloping the downtown to create a family friendly environment while maintain Historic Downtown Livermore.
They have blended the new with the old to create an atmosphere that makes people want to take the whole family downtown. You can dine outside at any time at most of the restaurants downtown but Tuesdays are always a hit during the spring and summer months with Tuesday Tunes.
Downtown Livermore, Inc. is also responsible for our Farmers Market that runs from mid May through mid October and starting fall of 2007 will run during the winter months in the new Parking Structure. You can park your car on the 2nd or 3rd level and no matter what the weather is you will stay dry.
Other events sponsored by Downtown Livermore include Romantic Horse Drawn Carriage rides for Valentines Day, Wine Country Festival, Tuesday Tunes, Family First Nights at the Farmers Market, Thirsty Thursday where you can taste some of the local wines and listen to some of the local musical talent, Christmas in July, Taste of Downtown, Downtown Trick or Treat, the Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade and many more.
